Teresa was born in Colombia, South America, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Didactics and Learning Difficulties. With over 37 years of teaching experience, she has dedicated her life to nurturing young minds and supporting diverse learning needs. After spending five years in Greenville, South Carolina, Teresa completed her Montessori Certification at the Life Long Learning Centre. She later settled in Calgary, Alberta, where she achieved her Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification and pursued additional educator training at Western Montessori. Teresa is a proud mother of two adult children. She became a widow in the past year. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her dog, staying active at the gym, diving into a good book, and cherishing moments with friends and family.
