Emily Cargan was born and raised in Ireland where she completed her BA in English at Queen’s University Belfast before moving to Canada to study for her MA in English at UNB and then a PhD in English at the University of Calgary, where she also completed her Bachelor of Education degree. Always inspired by Montessori education, she is completing her AMI diploma in Elementary Education. Emily is passionate about supporting each student to reach their full potential and about creating strong relationships with students’ families. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading science books and poetry, caring for her furballs, and spending time with family and friends.
